Welcome to the Charge Management Tool 2.0

This tool can help estimate the amount of charge in your refrigeration system. It does so by calculating each individual piece of equipment, given input parameters. This equipment can be organized into areas, and reports can be compiled. The formulas used for each calculation have been developed by IRC Associate Scientist Todd Jekel, based on rules of thumb commonly used in the industry. The interface was developed by Mark Geurts.

The primary components of this tool are available via a set of links in the top right corner. To begin calculations, click the arrow below. To modify your plant information such as elevation and unit system, click "Location and Preferences".

To start a new session, click here. Otherwise, users can load a previously saved file using the input box below. While using this tool, if any bugs are found, please use the Bug Tracker.

Note: If you are trying to load an existing file, please recalculate the piping area
