Industry Training
Refrigeration
Training for staff at your plant or across all facilities in your corporation can provide numerous benefits. Well trained operations staff will allow them to operate their systems more efficiently, effectively respond to crisis situations faster, and have a greater understanding of their own refrigeration system. The net result is a safer and more efficient operating refrigeration system.
The IRC is the leader in training programs for the refrigeration industry. Working in conjunction with the Department of Engineering Professional Development at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the IRC offers numerous course options. Your staff can attend courses in Madison, WI or we can bring courses to your plant for in-house instruction. We have also led the industry in developing and delivering instructor-led educational programs using state-of-the-art distance methods. The on-line teaching option allows operators at multiple plants in your organization to receive uniform training without the expense of travel.
The IRC offers a range of classes from Introductory to Advanced Ammonia Refrigeration Systems. There are also specialty courses on understanding energy efficiency opportunities, as well as design and engineering calculations. More information on the refrigeration training programs and delivery methods offered by the IRC can be found on the Education & Training section of the webpage.
